1. Aug 8, 2021. #1. Hi a newbie scratching his head after pulling his hair out. I have a 2009 Doblo 1.9 multijet diesel and has issues idling and running rough when cold. Start up fine if left idling every now and then it has like a misfire, if I try and drive it from cold it coughs and jerks between 1200 and 2000rpm almost like a flat spot on

He told me that if you need a replacement engine as well as sourcing one from a Combo or Corsa the same engine is used in the 1.3 Astra and you can also use one from a Fiat with a 1.3 multijet engine used in the Doblo or Punto as it is the same engine.

Now, fuel starvation, or fuelling problems could cause a misfire symptom, and lack of power, or there could be a compression problem on one of the cylinders. That second part is an extreme. I'd go down the fuelling route first of all.
