Yes, it slightly sharper than EF 24-70L/2.8 II, as sharp as Sigma 35/1.4 Art, and even slightly edged out FE 35/2.8 thru adapter on A7r II. Only relative new Canon 35L/1.4 II is sharper which beats any FF lenses @35mm FL.
