🐭 Garmin Fenix 6 Hr Not Working

Just got my 6x today and I'm having problems with HR. Huge gaps, no pulseox. Green lights rarely on if I lift it up. Tried resetting, formatting, different tightnesses, other wrist, different positions. Think I got a duff device Note that your treadmill will not pick up the heart rate until AFTER you initiate activity on your watch, e.g, start "treadmill runnning" or similar even after that, there may be a delay of 5-10 seconds for pairing to occur. This article suggests you can do it - the watch will broadcast a standard BLE HR signal. Mine appeared to record the 4 hour heart rate but noticed today that the 7 day heart rate is blank.I then checked the app and realised that the all-day heart rate has not been syncing with Garmin connect for over a month. I have turned the HRM off and on. Then also turned the watch off and on. It appears to have synced a data point with GC now. I own a Garmin Fenix 6 Sapphire and a Garmin VivoActive HR. The VivoActive heart rate reading has been incredibly accurate for the past 3 years. I expected the same results from a watch that costs 4 times as much but I have been let down so far. My new Garmin Fenix 6 Sapphire HR reading is typically 30-40 beats lower then it should be. I purchased a Fenix 6X Pro about a year ago and love it. I use it primarily for running and found a lot of the numbers to be fairly accurate (HR, SVO2, etc.) when I compared them with other devices at the same time. As of about a month ago, I noticed that my heart rate data seems off- it’s reading lower than it should be. Yesterday I purchased a Garmin Run HRM.. i paired it with my existing Fenix 6 Pro. The images are: from Friday, just the watch and from today with the HRM.. (also with the Fenix confirming the HRH is paired and connected).. How do i know the new data is from the external monitor and not the watch? Heart rate monitor no longer accurate on runs since update 13.10. Resuls spike quickly to my max heart rate even on easy runs at 1/2 pace. tried to reset the device; fiddled with the placement on my wrists (as recommended) and tried it on a 'normal' run setting as opposed to using the 'recommended workout' widget. I just picked up a used Fenix 6 Pro which I will use as a backup to my 6X Sapphire. Everything seems to be working well except for the heart rate and pulse ox sensors. I've tried resetting the watch, updating the firmware to the latest available, and making sure that HR / PO is turned on in the menus, but it's still not working. dilbert04. If your PulseOX issue has continued, there are two troubleshooting steps you can take: - Hard Reset: Hold down your top left button until your watch shuts off then let go. Test your PulseOX and…. A dedicated community for Garmin users to ask questions, provide answers, and share feedback. Broadcast heart rate intermittently stops working. While cycling I broadcast heart rate from my Fenix 6X Pro to my Edge 1040. On my last two rides the Edge would randomly stop displaying the value despite the watch typically still showing that it was broadcasting. Sometimes I can fix it by waiting a little bit and then restarting the broadcast For normal heart rate tracking while wearing the watch but not doing an activity, the optical sensor will continue working as normal. I have found the optical sensor on the Fenix 6 to be pretty good, but accuracy can be affected by the fit of the watch, sweat build up, skin tone, tattoos etc. So while it is mainly fine, a HRM chest strap will .
